This section provides cost-of-living adjustments for System annuitants. The adjustments follow the procedure used for the specified title 5 annuitants.
Cost-of-living adjustments for annuitants under this System* are granted under section 8462 of title 5, using the same procedure used for the annuitants described in section 8462(c)(3)(B)(ii).
Cost-of-living adjustments for annuitants under this System* shall be granted under procedures in section 8462 of title 5 in the same manner as such adjustments are made for annuitants referred to in subsection (c)(3)(B)(ii) of such section.
