This section sets the exchange rate consular officials in Canada must use when collecting official fees in foreign currency. They must use the rate in the Treasury schedule for foreign-coin values.
When collecting official fees in Canada, consuls, vice consuls, and consular agents must accept foreign money at the rate stated in the Treasury schedule of foreign-coin values.
Consuls, vice consuls, and consular agents in the Dominion of Canada, in the collection of official fees, shall receive foreign moneys at the rate given in the Treasury schedule of the value of foreign coins.
