In an emergency, the Secretary of Transportation can use department funds for medical help. This pays for medical supplies and services for Federal Highway Administration workers. It applies only to workers doing hazardous work who need immediate relief.
In an emergency, the Secretary* is allowed to use money appropriated to the Department of Transportation for this title's purposes. The Secretary can spend that money on medical supplies, medical services, and other help. This assistance is only for Federal Highway* Administration employees who do hazardous work and need immediate relief.
The Secretary* is authorized in an emergency to use appropriations to the Department of Transportation for carrying out the provisions of this title for medical supplies, services, and other assistance necessary for the immediate relief of employees of the Federal Highway* Administration engaged in hazardous work.
