25 U.S.C. § 122 — Limitation on application of tribal funds

This section limits how tribal treaty funds can be spent. The rule has two parts, written as one sentence. First, no funds belonging to any Indian tribe that has treaty relations with the United States may be applied in any way that isn't authorized by that treaty or by an express provision of law. Second, money that Congress appropriated to carry out a treaty cannot be transferred or applied to any other purpose unless a law expressly authorizes that transfer. The section has no lettered subsections.
