People engaged in distilled-spirits operations must put and keep a clearly visible sign outside their business. The sign must show their name and identify the business or businesses they conduct. The Secretary will set the sign’s form and information by regulation.
People engaged in distilled-spirits* operations must put and keep a clearly visible sign outside their business. The sign must show their name and identify the business or businesses they conduct. The Secretary* will set the sign’s form and information by regulation.
(a) Requirements. Every person engaged in distilled-spirits operations must post and maintain the required sign.
(b) Penalty. For penalties and forfeitures concerning failure to post the sign or posting it improperly, see section 5681.
This section does not define “distilled spirits* operations” or “conspicuously.”
Every person engaged in distilled spirits* operations shall place and keep conspicuously on the outside of his place of business a sign showing the name of such person and denoting the business, or businesses, in which engaged. The sign required by this subsection shall be in such form and contain such information as the Secretary* shall by regulations prescribe.
For penalty and forfeiture relating to failure to post sign or improperly posting such sign, see section 5681.
