This section limits a chapter’s references to United States laws. It excludes laws that apply only to the District of Columbia.
For this chapter, a reference to a United States law or Act of Congress does not include a law that applies only to the District* of Columbia.
For the purposes of this chapter, references to laws of the United States or Acts of Congress do not include laws applicable exclusively to the District* of Columbia.
