The federal rules on judges' duty stations, in sections 452 through 459 and section 462, also apply to the United States Court of Federal Claims, to territorial courts with district-court-like power, and to their judges.

(a) The rules in sections 452 through 459, and in section 462, of this chapter also apply to the United States Court of Federal Claims, and to any court a territory created by Act of Congress that has some of the same power as a U.S. district court — and to the judges of those courts.

(b) If a judge covered by subsection (a) doesn't already have an official duty station set by law, that duty station is the place where the court regularly meets and where the judge does most of their judicial work, choosing whichever such place is closest to where the judge actually lives.
