28 U.S.C. § 958 — Persons ineligible as receivers

This section bars a person holding a United States office or job, or employed by a United States justice or judge, from simultaneously serving as a receiver in a United States court case.
A person holding any civil or military office or employment under the United States or employed by any justice or judge of the United States* must not at the same time be appointed a receiver in any case in any court of the United States*.
A person holding any civil or military office or employment under the United States or employed by any justice or judge of the United States* shall not at the same time be appointed a receiver in any case in any court of the United States*.
