This section authorizes the Secretary to issue regulations needed or appropriate to carry out this part. It also permits interim final rules.
The Secretary* may issue regulations that are necessary or appropriate to carry out this part, consistent with section 104 of the Health Care Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. The Secretary may also issue any interim final rules the Secretary considers appropriate to carry out this part.
The Secretary*, consistent with section 104 of the Health Care Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, may promulgate such regulations as may be necessary or appropriate to carry out the provisions of this part. The Secretary may promulgate any interim final rules as the Secretary determines are appropriate to carry out this part.
