30 U.S.C. § 28e — Recordation of deferment

A claimant must file or record a public notice of their deferment petition to the Secretary of the Interior. This notice goes to the same office where the claim's original location notice or certificate was filed. The claimant must also record the outcome of that petition once it's decided.
This is one undivided provision.
The claimant must file, record, or cause to be filed or recorded, in the office holding the notice or certificate of location for the claim (or group of claims), a notice telling the public about their petition to the Secretary of the Interior for a deferment under sections 28b to 28e of this title.
The claimant must also record, in that same office, the order or decision resolving that petition once it is made.
Claimant shall file or record or cause to be filed or recorded in the office where the notice or certificate of location of such claim or group of claims is filed or recorded, a notice to the public of claimant’s petition to the Secretary of the Interior for deferment under sections 28b to 28e of this title, and of the order or decision disposing of such petition.
