This section requires use of the standard troy pound of the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the Department of Commerce. That standard is used to ensure that the weights of United States coins conform to the specifications in section 5112.
The standard troy pound of the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the Department of Commerce must be used as the standard for ensuring that the weights of United States coins conform to the specifications in section 5112 of this title.
The standard troy pound of the National Institute of Standards and Technology of the Department of Commerce shall be the standard used to ensure that the weight of United States coins conforms to specifications in section 5112 of this title.
