Sex offenders must appear in person and get photographed to verify their registry information. How often depends on tier: yearly, every 6 months, or every 3 months.
A sex offender* must appear in person, let the jurisdiction* take a current photograph, and verify the registry information. This must happen at least: (1) once a year, for a tier I sex offender*; (2) every 6 months, for a tier II sex offender*; and (3) every 3 months, for a tier III sex offender*.
A sex offender* shall appear in person, allow the jurisdiction* to take a current photograph, and verify the information in each registry in which that offender is required to be registered not less frequently than—
each year, if the offender is a tier I sex offender*;
every 6 months, if the offender is a tier II sex offender*; and
every 3 months, if the offender is a tier III sex offender*.
