All federal departments, agencies, and employees must enforce the Compact. They must cooperate with each other and with states that join it. The Attorney General must make rules needed to carry out the Compact.
All federal departments, agencies, officers, and employees must enforce the Compact*. They must cooperate with each other and with all states that have joined it, to carry out the Compact's goals. On the federal government's side, the Attorney General* must make rules, give instructions, and take whatever other steps are needed to carry out the Compact and this subchapter.
All departments, agencies, officers, and employees of the United States shall enforce the Compact* and cooperate with one another and with all Party States in enforcing the Compact and effectuating its purposes. For the Federal Government, the Attorney General* shall make such rules, prescribe such instructions, and take such other actions as may be necessary to carry out the Compact and this subchapter.
