The corporation must follow each state's rules for service of process — the legal way of delivering lawsuit papers. This applies in every state where it is incorporated or does business.
The corporation must follow the service-of-process law of every state where it is incorporated. It must also follow that law in every state where it carries on activities. Service of process is the legal way someone delivers court papers, like a lawsuit, to notify the corporation.
The corporation shall comply with the law on service of process of each State in which it is incorporated and each State in which it carries on activities.
