This section defines “Federal land management agency” for this chapter. It lists six agencies included in that term.
For this chapter, “Federal land management agency” includes: (1) the Agriculture Department’s Forest Service; (2) the Interior Department’s Bureau of Land Management; (3) the Interior Department’s National Park Service; (4) the Interior Department’s Fish and Wildlife Service; (5) the Interior Department’s Bureau of Reclamation; and (6) the Army Corps of Engineers. This section does not define any of those agency names.
For purposes of this chapter, “Federal land management agency” includes—
the Forest Service of the Department of Agriculture;
the Bureau of Land Management of the Department of the Interior;
the National Park Service of the Department of the Interior;
the Fish and Wildlife Service of the Department of the Interior;
the Bureau of Reclamation of the Department of the Interior; and
the Army Corps of Engineers.
