38 U.S.C. § 3535 — Approval of courses

An eligible person receives benefits under this chapter for a course only if the course is approved under the cited education rules or approved for that individual under section 3536.
An eligible person* may receive this chapter’s benefits while enrolled in an educational-institution course only if the course is approved under subchapter I of chapter 36 of this title or is approved for that particular person under section 3536 of this title.
An eligible person* shall receive the benefits of this chapter while enrolled in a course of education offered by an educational institution* only if such course (1) is approved in accordance with the provisions of subchapter I 1 of chapter 36 of this title, or (2) is approved for the enrollment of the particular individual under the provisions of section 3536 of this title.
