38 U.S.C. § 4108 — Cooperation and coordination

The Secretary must consult with and keep the Secretary of Veterans Affairs informed to coordinate Labor and Veterans Affairs activities. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs must regularly give designated offices information about employers with approved veteran job-training programs.
(a) While carrying out this chapter, the Secretary* must periodically consult with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs and fully inform that Secretary about activities and data under this chapter, to maximize cooperation and coordination between the Labor and Veterans Affairs Departments. (b) Monthly or more often, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs must give designated employment-service and Labor Department* offices the names and addresses of employers in those offices’ areas that offer job training approved under section 7 of the Veterans’ Job Training Act.
In carrying out the Secretary’s responsibilities under this chapter, the Secretary* shall from time to time consult with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs and keep the Secretary of Veterans Affairs fully advised of activities carried out and all data gathered pursuant to this chapter to insure maximum cooperation and coordination between the Department* of Labor and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall provide to appropriate employment service offices and Department of Labor offices, as designated by the Secretary, on a monthly or more frequent basis, the name and address of each employer located in the areas served by such offices that offer a program of job training which has been approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs under section 7 of the Veterans’ Job Training Act (29 U.S.C. 1721 note).
