The General Services Administration's Administrator may set up a nationwide network of federal information centers. These centers give the public information about federal government programs and procedures. They can also serve other related purposes the Administrator decides on.

It allows, without requiring, the Administrator of General Services to establish within the General Services Administration a nationwide network of federal information centers. The purpose of these centers is to give the public information about the programs and procedures of the Federal Government, and for other appropriate and related purposes.
The Administrator of General Services may establish within the General Services Administration a nationwide network of federal information centers for the purpose of providing the public with information about the programs and procedures of the Federal Government and for other appropriate and related purposes.
