40 U.S.C. § 8143 — Heat

(a) Corcoran Gallery of Art: The Administrator of General Services may send heat from the central heating plant to the Corcoran Gallery of Art. The Gallery must agree to pay the rates the Administrator sets, and to connect its building to the government's mains in a way the Administrator approves. (b) Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System: The Administrator may send steam to the Federal Reserve Board's building on land the Board acquired in certain city squares in the District of Columbia. The Board must agree to pay reasonable rates — at least equal to cost — and to pay for and build its own connections to the government mains, in a way the Administrator approves. (c) Non-Federal Public Buildings: The Administrator sets the rates charged for steam sent to the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Pan American Union Buildings, the American Red Cross Buildings, and other non-federal public buildings authorized to get steam from the central heating plant.
