41 U.S.C. § 3508 — Right to examine contractor records

This section gives an executive agency the authority in section 4706(b)(2) to evaluate required cost or pricing data. The purpose is to check whether that data is accurate, complete, and current.
For the purpose of evaluating the accuracy, completeness, and currency of cost or pricing data* required to be submitted by this chapter, an executive agency must have the authority provided by section 4706(b)(2) of this title .
For the purpose of evaluating the accuracy, completeness, and currency of cost or pricing data* required to be submitted by this chapter, an executive agency shall have the authority provided by section 4706(b)(2) of this title.
