41 U.S.C. § 8506 — Authorization of appropriations
submitted 15 years ago by Pub. L. 111-350 to r/title-41-PUBLIC-CONTRACTS · 13 words · no verdicts yet
Congress may give the Committee whatever money it needs. This funds the Committee's work in carrying out this chapter.
This section lets Congress appropriate — that is, set aside and authorize — whatever amount of money is necessary for the Committee*. That money is meant to cover the cost of carrying out the rest of this chapter. The section does not set a specific dollar limit; it simply gives Congress the authority to fund the Committee's work as needed.
Necessary amounts may be appropriated to the Committee* to carry out this chapter.
