For this part, the Secretary must define “geographic area” by notice. The notice had to be issued within 90 days after July 29, 2016.
(a) Requirement to define. For this part, the term “geographic area*” has the meaning the Secretary* provides by notice. This section does not otherwise define the quoted term.
(b) Issuance of notice. The Secretary had to issue the required definition within 90 days after July 29, 2016.
For purposes of this part, the term “geographic area*” shall have such meaning as the Secretary* shall by notice provide.
Not later than the expiration of the 90-day period beginning on July 29, 2016, the Secretary shall issue a notice setting forth the definition required by subsection (a).
