42 U.S.C. § 13218 — Reports

(a) Omitted — this part of the section has already taken effect and its text is not reproduced here. (b) Compliance report: (1) In general: No later than February 15, 2006, and every year for the next 14 years after that, the head of each federal agency covered by this Act and Executive Order 13031 had to prepare and send Congress a report that (A) summarized the agency's compliance with alternative fuel purchasing rules for federal fleets under this Act and Executive Order 13031, and (B) included a compliance plan with specific dates for reaching compliance through reasonable means. (2) Contents: (A) In general: Each report had to include (i) any information about failing to meet statutory or Executive Order 13031 requirements; (ii)(I) any compliance plan the agency head had to submit under Executive Order 13031, or (II) if that plan lacked specific compliance dates, a revised plan that had specific dates; and (iii) any related information the agency head had to send the Director of the Office of Management and Budget under Executive Order 13031. (B) Penultimate report: The second-to-last report had to announce that next year's report would be the final one. (3) Public dissemination of report: Each report had to be made public — (A) posted on a publicly available website, and (B) its availability, including the website address, published in the Federal Register.
