42 U.S.C. § 13262 — Enforcement

(a) Violation: Anyone who violates section 13261 of this title can face a civil penalty of up to $5,000 for each violation. (b) Willful violation: Anyone who willfully violates section 13261 of this title can be fined up to $10,000 for each violation. (c) Knowing and willful violation following prior violation and penalty: If someone knowingly and willfully violates section 13261 of this title after already having paid a civil penalty for an earlier violation of that section, they can be fined up to $50,000.
