The Secretary must tell the Secretary of the Treasury how much money each State should receive under sections 1772 through 1776 and when to pay it. The Treasury Secretary must then make those payments at the specified times.
From time to time, the Secretary* must certify to the Secretary of the Treasury the amounts payable to each State* under sections 1772 through 1776 and the time or times for payment. The Secretary of the Treasury must pay each State those certified amounts at the times set by the Secretary.
The Secretary* shall certify to the Secretary of the Treasury from time to time the amounts to be paid to any State* under sections 1772 through 1776 of this title and the time or times such amounts are to be paid; and the Secretary of the Treasury shall pay to the State at the time or times fixed by the Secretary the amounts so certified.
