Within one year of September 28, 2018, the Secretary of Energy must send Congress a report. The Secretary must send more reports as often as needed after that. Each report must recommend policy and legal changes to help the Department move new energy technologies into private industry.
This is a single, undivided provision.
Not later than 1 year after September 28, 2018, and as often after that as the Secretary* decides is necessary, the Secretary must send a report to the appropriate committees of Congress. The report must include recommended changes to the Department's policy, and recommended changes to the law at section 16391 of this title, aimed at improving the Department's ability to successfully transfer new energy technologies to the private sector.
Not later than 1 year after September 28, 2018, and as often as the Secretary* determines to be necessary thereafter, the Secretary shall transmit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report that includes recommended changes to the policy of the Department* and legislative changes to section 16391 of this title to improve the ability of the Department to successfully transfer new energy technologies to the private sector.
