The Secretary must appoint an Executive Secretary for the Task Force on Aging Research and give the Task Force whatever staff and support it needs to do its job.
This section covers staff support for the Task Force on Aging Research. The Secretary*, acting through the Assistant Secretary for Health or the Director* of the National Institute on Aging, must appoint an Executive Secretary for the Task Force and must give it the administrative staff and support it needs to carry out the duties listed in section 242q(b) and (c).
The Secretary*, acting through either the Assistant Secretary for Health or the Director* of the National Institute on Aging, shall appoint an Executive Secretary for the Task Force and shall provide the Task Force with such administrative staff and support as may be necessary to enable the Task Force to carry out subsections (b) and (c) of section 242q of this title.
