submitted 82 years ago by ch. 373 to r/title-42-THE-PUBLIC-HEALTH-AND-WELFARE · 74 words · no verdicts yet
This part doesn't stop the Public Health Service from providing materials, supplies, equipment, or work when another agency properly requests it. It also doesn't stop other federal departments from providing those same things to the Service when Health and Human Services requests them.
Nothing in this part changes the Public Health Service's power to supply materials, supplies, or equipment, or to perform work or services, when properly requested by another agency under sections 1535 and 1536 of title 31. It also doesn't change any other executive department's power to supply materials, supplies, or equipment, or to perform work or services, for the Public Health Service*, when the Department of Health and Human Services requests it under that same law.
Nothing contained in this part shall affect the authority of the Service* to furnish any materials, supplies, or equipment, or perform any work of services, requested in accordance with sections 1535 and 1536 of title 31, or the authority of any other executive department* to furnish any materials, supplies, or equipment, or perform any work or services, requested by the Department of Health and Human Services for the Service in accordance with that section.
