This section defines four terms used in this part of the law. "Bone marrow" means cells from adult bone marrow and blood. The other terms name the Advisory Council, the outcomes database, and the Program set up by earlier sections.
In this part:
The term “Advisory Council” means the advisory council established by the Secretary* under section 274k(a)(1) of this title.
The term “bone marrow” means the cells found in adult bone marrow and peripheral blood.
The term “outcomes database” means the database established by the Secretary under section 274l of this title.
The term “Program” means the C.W. Bill Young Cell Transplantation Program established under section 274k of this title.
