This law defines two terms used in this part of the law. A "medical library" is a library tied to health sciences. "Sciences related to health" covers medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, public health, and related sciences.
This section defines two terms used throughout this subpart of the law.
(1) A "medical library" means a library connected to the "sciences related to health."
(2) "Sciences related to health" includes medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, and public health. It also includes basic and applied sciences whenever they connect to those fields.
As used in this subpart—
the term “medical library” means a library related to the sciences related to health; and
the term “sciences related to health” includes medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, and public health, and fundamental and applied sciences when related thereto.
