42 U.S.C. § 3536a — Report on interagency family economic empowerment strategies

The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, consulting with the Secretary of Labor, must annually report to Congress on: (1) interagency strategies of those Departments designed to improve family economic empowerment by linking housing assistance with essential supportive services, such as employment counseling and training, financial education and growth, child care, transportation, meals, youth recreation, and other supportive services; and (2) actions taken in the preceding year to carry out those strategies and the progress those actions achieved.
