(a) The President must establish a Federal interagency task force to coordinate Federal predisaster hazard-mitigation programs. (b) The FEMA Administrator chairs the task force.
(a) The President must establish a Federal interagency task force to coordinate Federal predisaster hazard-mitigation programs. (b) The FEMA Administrator* chairs the task force. (c) Its members must include representatives of relevant Federal agencies, State* and local government* organizations, including Indian tribes, and the American Red Cross.
The President shall establish a Federal interagency task force for the purpose of coordinating the implementation of predisaster hazard mitigation programs administered by the Federal Government.
The Administrator* of the Federal Emergency Management Agency shall serve as the chairperson of the task force.
The membership of the task force shall include representatives of—
relevant Federal agencies;
State* and local government* organizations (including Indian tribes); and
the American Red Cross.
