Except for subchapter IV, this chapter does not limit the President’s functions or authority that existed immediately before October 1, 1977. It also does not limit the President’s authority over delegating those functions.
Except as provided in subchapter IV, nothing contained in this chapter must be construed to limit, curtail, abolish, or end any function of, or authority available to, the President which he had immediately before October 1, 1977 ; or to limit, curtail, abolish, or end his authority to delegate, redelegate, or end any delegation of functions.
Except as provided in subchapter IV, nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to limit, curtail, abolish, or terminate any function of, or authority available to, the President which he had immediately before October 1, 1977; or to limit, curtail, abolish, or terminate his authority to delegate, redelegate, or terminate any delegation of functions.
