If a court strikes down any part of this chapter, or strikes down how it applies to someone, the rest of the chapter keeps working.
If a court finds any part of this chapter invalid, or finds that applying some part of it to a specific person* or situation is invalid, that ruling does not affect how the rest of the chapter applies to other people or situations. The rest of the chapter stays in force.
If any provision of this chapter, or the application of any provision of this chapter to any person* or circumstance, is held invalid, the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances, and the remainder of this chapter shall not be affected thereby.
