The Energy Secretary had to propose rules for this part within 120 days after June 30, 1980. Final rules were due 90 days after that.
(a) Proposed rules and regulations: The Secretary* had to issue proposed rules and regulations to carry out this part no later than 120 days after June 30, 1980.
(b) Final rules and regulations: The Secretary had to issue final rules and regulations no later than 90 days after issuing the proposed rules required by subsection (a).
The Secretary* shall issue proposed rules and regulations to carry out this part not later than 120 days after June 30, 1980.
