43 U.S.C. § 390b–1 — Improving planning and administration of water supply storage

(1) In general: For each water supply feature of a reservoir the Secretary manages, the Secretary must notify the relevant non-federal interests, before each fiscal year, about the operation and maintenance activities expected for that year and the next four years — including their cost — for which those interests must contribute money. (2) Clarification: That information (A) is only an estimate the non-federal interest can use for planning, and (B) is not the actual amount the non-federal interest will end up owing.
