This law sends money from leasing or selling products of certain reserved lands into the reclamation fund. It covers land reserved under reclamation law, and land reserved under other laws if needed to protect reclamation facilities. That land stays under the Secretary of the Interior's control.
Money received — now or in the future — from leasing land that was reserved or withdrawn under reclamation law, or from selling products taken from that land, must go into the reclamation fund.
The same rule applies to land that is reserved or withdrawn under some other law, if that land is needed to protect or operate a reservoir or other structure built under reclamation law: money from leasing that land and selling its products also goes into the reclamation fund.
Land covered by this section stays under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Interior.
The proceeds heretofore or hereafter received from the lease of any lands reserved or withdrawn under the reclamation law or from the sale of the products therefrom shall be covered into the reclamation fund; and where such lands are affected by a reservation or withdrawal under some other law, the proceeds from the lease of land and the sale of products therefrom shall likewise be covered into the reclamation fund in all cases where such lands are needed for the protection or operation of any reservoir or other works constructed under the reclamation law, and such lands shall be and remain under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Interior.
