This law requires presidential approval before starting certain irrigation projects. It applies to projects under the Act of June 17, 1902. The Secretary of the Interior must recommend the project before the President approves it.
After June 25, 1910, no irrigation project contemplated by the Act of June 17, 1902 may be started unless and until the Secretary of the Interior has recommended it, and the President of the United States has approved it by direct order.
After June 25, 1910, no irrigation project contemplated by the Act of June 17, 1902, shall be begun unless and until the same shall have been recommended by the Secretary of the Interior and approved by the direct order of the President of the United States.
