43 U.S.C. § 468 — Withdrawal of notice given and modification of applications and contracts made prior to February 13, 1911

The Secretary of the Interior may, at his own discretion, withdraw any public notice that was issued under section 419 of this title before February 13, 1911. He may also agree to change water-right applications that were filed before February 13, 1911, or contracts with water users' associations and others that were entered into before that date, in whatever way he thinks is a good idea. He may even agree to cancel (abrogate) those applications and contracts entirely. After doing any of this, he can then proceed as if no such notice had ever been given.
