This section requires the Director and Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs personnel to provide information that the Comptroller General needs under the stated conditions and procedures. The Comptroller General and representatives may inspect the Office’s records.
Under the conditions and procedures in 31 U.S.C. § 716, the Director* and the personnel of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs must provide information that the Comptroller General needs to perform the Comptroller General’s responsibilities. To obtain that information, the Comptroller General and the Comptroller General’s representatives may inspect all of the Office’s books, documents, papers, and records, in any form or format.
Under the conditions and procedures prescribed in section 716 of title 31, the Director* and personnel in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs shall furnish such information as the Comptroller General may require for the discharge of the responsibilities of the Comptroller General. For the purpose of obtaining such information, the Comptroller General or representatives thereof shall have access to all books, documents, papers and records, regardless of form or format, of the Office.
