The Senate Secretary and House Clerk must collect committee reports for their respective chambers and, after each congressional session, have them indexed and bound. Copies go to each chamber’s library and to the committee that produced the report.
The Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House must obtain and file copies of all committee reports for use by their chamber. At the end of each congressional session, they must have the reports indexed and bound. One copy goes to each chamber’s library and one to the committee that issued the report.
The Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House of Representatives shall procure and file for the use of their respective House copies of all reports made by committees, and at the close of each session of Congress shall have the reports indexed and bound, one copy to be deposited in the library of each House and one copy in the committee from which the report emanates.
