The Railroad Retirement Board may issue rules and use specified powers to perform its duties.
(a) The Board may issue regulations needed to perform its duties under this chapter.
(b) In performing those duties, the Board may use the powers, duties, and remedies in subsections (a), (b), and (d) of section 362 of this title, to the extent they do not conflict with this chapter.
The Board may prescribe such regulations as may be necessary to carry out its duties under this chapter.
In carrying out its duties under this chapter, the Board may exercise such of the powers, duties, and remedies provided in subsections (a), (b), and (d) of section 362 of this title as are not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter.
