This section defines "documented vessel." It means a vessel that has received a certificate of documentation under chapter 121 of this title.
This section gives a definition used throughout this title of the U.S. Code. Whenever this title uses the term "documented vessel*," it means a vessel for which a certificate of documentation has been issued under chapter 121 of this title.
In this title, the term “documented vessel*” means a vessel for which a certificate of documentation has been issued under chapter 121 of this title.
