Under the Secretary of Transportation's regulations, a manufacturer or distributor must give the distributor or dealer a certificate at delivery for a covered passenger vehicle or piece of equipment. The certificate must state that the vehicle or equipment complies with the bumper standard.
Under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Transportation, a manufacturer or distributor of a passenger motor vehicle or passenger motor vehicle equipment subject to a standard under section 32502 must give the distributor or dealer, at the time of delivery, a certificate stating that the vehicle or equipment complies with the standard.
Under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Transportation, a manufacturer or distributor of a passenger motor vehicle or passenger motor vehicle equipment subject to a standard prescribed under section 32502 of this title shall give the distributor or dealer at the time of delivery a certificate that the vehicle or equipment complies with the standard.
