49 U.S.C. § 41510 — Required adherence to foreign air transportation tariffs

(a) Rules for carriers and ticket agents. An air carrier, foreign air carrier, or ticket agent may not (1) charge or accept payment for foreign air transportation different from the tariff price in effect; (2) refund or give back any part of the tariff price; or (3) give anyone a privilege or service tied to something the Secretary requires in the tariff, except as the tariff states. (b) Rules for everyone else. A person may not knowingly (1) pay a price for shipping property by foreign air transportation that differs from the tariff price in effect; or (2) ask for, accept, or receive (A) a refund of any part of the tariff price, or (B) a privilege or service tied to something the Secretary requires in the tariff, except as the tariff states.
