All the functions that the Federal Election Commission's Office of Election Administration used to perform are transferred. They now belong to the Election Assistance Commission. This covers everything that office did before October 29, 2002.
This section transfers every function once carried out by the Office of Election Administration -- an office that existed within the Federal Election Commission. Those functions now belong to the Election Assistance Commission, created under section 20921. This covers whatever the Office of Election Administration did before October 29, 2002.
There are transferred to the Election Assistance Commission established under section 20921 of this title all functions which the Office of Election Administration, established within the Federal Election Commission, exercised before October 29, 2002.
