Other federal agencies, including Transportation, Housing, Health, and Commerce, must help the Secretary plan and run transportation projects for parks. The Secretary must also keep a list of federal laws and programs that could fund or support these projects.
(a) Assistance of Heads of Other Federal Departments and Agencies. To carry out this subchapter, several other officials must help the Secretary* plan and carry out transportation projects: the Secretary of Transportation, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Secretary of Commerce, and the heads of any other federal departments or agencies the Secretary considers necessary.
(b) Compilation of Statutes and Programs. The Secretary must keep an up-to-date list of federal statutes and programs. This list covers laws and programs that give authority to plan, fund, or operate transportation projects the Secretary might use to carry out this subchapter.
To carry out this subchapter, the Secretary* of Transportation, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Secretary of Commerce, and the heads of other Federal departments or agencies that the Secretary considers necessary shall assist the Secretary in the formulation and implementation of transportation projects.
The Secretary shall maintain a compilation of Federal statutes and programs providing authority for the planning, funding, or operation of transportation projects that might be utilized by the Secretary to carry out this subchapter.
