No state can get more than 15% of a year's grant money under this program. The law also caps how much goes to recovery action program grants, innovation grants, and program support. None of this money can be used to buy land.
(a) Limitation of Funds.— No more than 15 percent of the money available for grants to all states in a fiscal year can go to grants for projects in any one state* that year.
(b) Recovery Action Program Grants.— No more than 3 percent of the money available for grants under this chapter in a fiscal year can go to recovery action program grants.
(c) Innovation Grants.— No more than 10 percent of the money available for grants under this chapter in a fiscal year can go to innovation grants.
(d) Program Support.— No more than 25 percent of the money made available under this chapter to any local government can go toward program support.
(e) No Land Acquisition.— None of the money made available under this chapter can be used to buy land or any interest in land.
The amount of grants made under this chapter for projects in any one State* for any fiscal year shall not be more than 15 percent of the amount made available for grants to all of the States for that fiscal year.
Not more than 3 percent of the amount made available for grants under this chapter for a fiscal year shall be used for recovery action program grants.
Not more than 10 percent of the amount made available for grants under this chapter for a fiscal year shall be used for innovation grants.
Not more than 25 percent of the amount made available under this chapter to any local government shall be used for program support.
No funds made available under this chapter shall be used for the acquisition of land or an interest in land.
