6 U.S.C. § 213 — Preservation of Customs funds

This law protects certain Customs fee money within the Department. Funds collected under those specific Customs fee provisions cannot go to any other agency or office. This rule overrides any other provision of this chapter.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, no funds collected under paragraphs (1) through (8) of section 58c(a) of title 19 may be transferred for use by any other agency* or office in the Department*.
