6 U.S.C. § 464b — Staffing accreditation function

This section has no lettered subsections. Starting in fiscal year 2004 and every year after, the Center — meaning FLETC, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers — may accept employees loaned from other federal agencies. These loaned employees, called "detailees," help staff FLETC's accreditation function — the work of certifying that training programs meet required standards. The Center accepts these detailees on a "non-reimbursable basis," meaning the agencies that lend the staff do not get paid back by FLETC for the employees' time or salary.
